When can I travel with the Interrail France Germany Pass?

Travel period: You can start your travel between 1 July 2023 and 31 December 2023. 

Pass validity: The pass is valid for 7 days of train travel within one month from your chosen start date. This means that once you activate the pass, you can travel on as many trains as you like on each of your 7 travel days within one month. Example: if you set your pass start date for 5 July 2023, you can use your 7 travel days any time until 4 August 2023.

Pass start date: The pass start date is the specific date on which your pass becomes valid, and you can start using it for train travel. For this special pass, the first possible start date is 1 July 2023, and the last possible start date is 31 December 2023. This means that if you do not activate your pass by 31 December 2023, your pass will expire and you won’t be able to use it anymore. You can change your start date any time before the start of that day (00:00 CET), but you can’t change your start date if the day has started or if it’s in the past.

Pass activation date: The terms "pass start date" and "pass activation date" refer to the same and are often used interchangeably. They both indicate the specific date on which your pass becomes valid, and you can start using it for train travel.
