Please be reminded: You cannot use the Interrail France Germany Pass for travel within your own country, except when departing from or returning home. Your Interrail France Germany Pass allows you to travel within your country of residence on two out of the seven travel days. These are referred to as outbound and inbound trips and require specific activation on your mobile pass. The Interrail France Germany Pass will require a travel day, and your app will easily ask you to activate an in/outbound trip when scheduling a train within your home country. If you need more than one outbound and inbound journey, you can always buy additional point-to-point tickets from your country’s rail carrier.
